And we're off . . .

We left Rochester bright and early at 6:00 this morning.  First stop ~ Bruegger's for coffee and a bagel.
We're 'wired' for a great time ~ keeping in touch with all of you.

Next stop ~ Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland Ohio.

We enjoyed "the rock" very much and it brought back fond memories of the '50s and '60s especially for John since Lynn was just a babe.

This is really a lovely area with the beautiful Lake Erie water front and the Cleveland Brown's Stadium right next door.

(Maybe some day John will learn to play his guitar ~ just like the bugle)

From Cleveland we continued west to South Bend Indiana where we spotted the golden dome of
Notre Dame.  We were very impressed as we walked around the campus.  After listening to rock-n-roll in the morning and then watching the Notre Dame marching band practice their fight song in the evening, we were really living in the past and ready to sign up for classes.

There it is the Notre Dame stadium!

And "touchdown Jesus" as it looks over the stadium.

There is a strong sense of  pride and spirituality on the campus but none stronger than what you feel at the grotto.
