Portland

We arrived in Portland just in time for John to get a plate of Bento at the Lucky Lab.

Bento ~ rice with a skewer of chicken covered 

with  peanut curry sauce

Then off to watch the Portland Timber's soccer game and a beer.  The 4 ouncer I had put me to sleep and John wasn't far behind.

Upon Dana's return from Fish Creek this summer she moved into a new apartment so this was our first time seeing it.  It is a great place with lots of windows and bright light.  She even got some new furniture and has it decorated very nicely. We felt right at home (uh-oh)

 On Thursday, Lynn spent most of the morning catching up on the blog.

We made a quick stop at Fred Meyer ~ Portland's answer to Wegmans

(not bad)

       Then we took a walk to

       meet Dana on her way 

       home from work .
      There are some things you just
      don't see anywhere but Portland.  

 Then on Thursday evening we rode the Max to the USA vs CANADA women's soccer game.  This was just a friendly game but the stadium was still packed since Portland is such a soccer town.
